General:
All the properties featured are offered for self-catering holidays
on a weekly basis, usually from a Saturday
to the following Saturday (4 pm on the date of arrival to 10 am on
the date of departure) unless otherwise
stated and are subject to the Hiring
Terms and Conditions. However, outwith the peak periods short
break holidays of three nights or more can be arranged in some of
the properties.
Booking:
To book a property, first check its availability by clicking on
the button marked availability, which is located towards the bottom
of each property page. This will show you all the available dates
for that particular property. Once you have decided on a property,
then either e-mail, fax or phone your booking (contact details below)
to us. We will hold on to booking for you for up to seven days until
we receive your payment.
Payment:
The deposit to secure your booking is 25%
of the total hire charge and may be paid by cheque, or credit
card (Mastercard/Visa). The balance is payable no later than four
weeks prior to commencement of the holiday. If you are booking within
four weeks of the start of your holiday, payment in full is required.
On receipt of the final payment, information on the key holder and
directions to the property will be forwarded to you.
Cancellations:
Please note that, once a booking has been
confirmed, you are liable for the whole cost of the holiday.
However, we will endeavour to re-let the property and, if successful,
we will make a full refund, less an administration charge of £
50. Accordingly, it is important that cancellations are advised
to us as soon as possible by either e-mail or telephone.
Linen:
Unless otherwise stated, guests must bring their own duvet covers,
sheets, pillow cases, towels and tea towels.
Equipment:
Each property is furnished and equipped to cater for the stated
permitted occupancy.
Pets:
Unless otherwise stated pets are welcome but must be kept under
strict control at all times.
Cleaning:
All properties are cleaned thoroughly between each let. However,
as only a limited period of time is available to clean properties.
It is a condition of your let that you leave the property and its
contents clean and tidy.
Complaints:
It is very important to both the property owner and Selfcatering
Highlands that clients enjoy their holiday and every effort has
been made to ensure this. However, in the unlikely event of dissatisfaction
with the property or any subsequent problem, the client must immediately
contact either the owner/caretaker/keyholder or Selfcatering Highlands
to report a problem.
