Brightwater Centre-Skye

Located at Kyleakin (opposite Kyle of Lochalsh), the Brightwater Centre contains information on the local area. From here take a boat trip to the nearby island of Eilean Ban, the last home of Gavin Maxwell, which is now a nature reserve.
Kylerhea Otter Haven
Click here to visit the Kylerhea otter haven web page The Otter Haven carpark is set in a spectacular location with fantastic views across the Kylerhea narrows to Glenelg and the Kintail mountains.
From here there is a short walk along the forest road to the Viewing Hide. There is also a short loop walk through a very attractive area behind the hide.
