The local hostelry for the
Glenelg and Arnisdale area. A roaring fire, good beer, great craik
(conversation) and delicious bar meals. What more could anyone want
at the end of the day? |

Located at Kyleakin
(opposite Kyle of Lochalsh), the Brightwater Centre contains information
on the local area. From here take a boat trip to the nearby island
of Eilean Ban, the last home of Gavin Maxwell, which is now a nature
reserve. |

Kylerhea Otter Haven |
|
|
|
 |
|
|
The Otter Haven
carpark is set in a spectacular location with fantastic views across
the Kylerhea narrows to Glenelg and the Kintail mountains.
From here there is a short walk along the forest road to the Viewing
Hide. There is also a short loop walk through a very attractive area
behind the hide.
