A purpose built product
which complies with and exceeds in its design, the present legal
requirements for firepoints.
Painted red for optimum visibility.
All supplied fire signage is photoluminescent for increased safety
in the event of a power outage.
Equipped with a rotary hand bell as standard but the firepoint can
be specified with a battery-operated siren.
Fitted with a weekly inspection sheet to assist with continual risk
assessment and CDM regulations.
Rigid transparent plastic map holder (suitable for clear A4 plastic
wallet).
Fitted with a 1.2m x 1.2m fire blanket as standard. Can carry three
15kg (overall weight) fire extinguishers.
Firepoint sign has space for the insertion of a number, which can
then be marked on the fire plan.
650mm wide which allows access through standard door sizes and into
lifts etc.
Supplied with an axle stand which replaces one of the 300mm wheels.
This immobilises the firepoint.
Supplied with a both a front spigot and castor wheel allowing the
contractor to decide which to use. (The castor wheel is of benefit
on internal flat surfaces and /or when the fire point is being used
to cover temporary "hot work" operations.
Fire extinguishers are temporarily restrained when the firepoint
is being moved by a removeable bar which is secured on the lower
part of the frame when the firepoint is static.
Mounted
on wheels to reduce the amount of man handling of fire fighting
equipment.
